The Human Resource Certification Preparation Program was first published in 1995 by Human Resource Certification Preparation, L.C. (HRCP, L.C.) The program provides a comprehensive studying material for the PHR and SPHR human resource certification exams.

The HRCP Program has six units, one covering each functional area of the exam. Each unit is bound separately and includes an index and a list of key terms. Along with more than seven-hundred pages of instruction, the program provides an online Self-Study Guide, which includes a guide to successful exam preparation, two sets of online review questions for each unit, and two online comprehensive, one-hundred question practice exams.

The program also includes the HR QuikStudy Flash Cards. Those preparing for the exams can quiz themselves and review key human resource terms and concepts with more than six-hundred convenient, business card-sized flash cards.

Nina E. Woodard SPHR

Ms. Woodard is a Lecturer at Cal State San Marcos and Adjunct Faculty in Extended Education at Brandman Universities.

Nina’s career has encompassed 32 years in the field of HR.  Her rich Human Resources background includes leadership roles in practical day to day activity as well as significant change initiatives, including M and A work and establishing a shared services center for finance.  She has worked across North, Central and South America, in the Middle East and in Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan.   These experiences have given her a truly global business perspective.  In all of her roles she worked as an HR Strategic Business Partner with the line managers she supported. 

Ms. Woodard currently serves as the mentor and business coach for Husys Consulting in India.   She serves as a member of the advisory team for World HR Congress and Asia Pacific HR Congress.  She is the Immediate Past President for San Diego SHRM.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and an MBA and is certified a Senior Professional in Human Resources and a Global Professional in Human Resources by Society for Human Resource Management.

 

Jacquelyn Thorp, MSHR, SPHR-CA has over 35 years of HR experience specializing in management and supervisor development as well as harassment prevention.  With over 30 years in the business environment, Jacquelyn devotes her energy to training HR practitioners to prepare for the PHR SPHR exam; preventing harassment and discrimination; and promoting professionalism in supervisors and the field of HR management.  A graduate of Chapman University, Jacquelyn holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and a BA in Organization Leadership.

 

Maria R. Diaz, SPHR-CA is a bilingual (English/Spanish) trainer.  She specializes in the delivery of management, leadership, supervisor and sex harassment prevention training.  Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of Phoenix with a number of special certifications in Human Resources.  With over 20 years in Human Resources, Maria devotes her time to training and Human Resource consulting.

 

 Robert Miller, PHR-CA is a Human Resource consultant and trainer with over 25 years of experience in the field of HR.  He specializes in the delivery of management, leadership, supervisor and harassment and discrimination prevention training.  Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.  With over 30 years in the business environment, Robert devotes his time to managing major accounts at Universal Healthcare Network and his own venture Best HR Solutions while working with HR Coach LLC to provide consulting services.
